RSS is an XML based format which allows other people to read your blog in newsreaders and other RSS based applications - including NetNewsWire, Bloglines etc. It is extremely useful because it allows others to read updates from lots of weblogs or other feed-based sites without visiting those sites individually. - Tom Morris (bbcity.co.uk)
